The last step in the installation process was to mount a JL Audio SB-F-150-SPRCRW/13TW5v2/BK Stealthbox under the rear seat. We used the crossover capabilities of the DSR1 to filter the signals going to each channel of the amp and consequently the speakers so they will only play the range of frequencies we want. However, it was different because we connected the woofers and the tweeters to individual channels on the amp rather than using the included passive crossover networks. This in and of itself doesn’t seem untraditional. We installed a set of BLAM Signature Series S 165.80+ components in the doors and dash. The next step is where our plan diverged from the client’s original vision. or I would get more pics. This JL Audio Stealthbox is designed specifically for the client’s truck. And it was a pita to remove my console etc. I apologize I meant to get more pics and got distracted. As long as you have the holes to put the screws into on both sides it want go anywhere. Those pins you speak of you could cut off. It took me all of 15 minutes to mod and mount the brackets. The little dimples that are on the brackets lined up with the indention on the sync 3 screen. You drill one hole and slot the other hole that is already there.

I did grind down the nubs on the Sync 2 brackets so they're flush now and perhaps that will make the difference. The above pictures that I posted was from the mounts that came off the sync 2 screen. I'd rather not drill those holes out in the dash as well as nobody else indicated the need to do that. What concerns me more is that it seemed like mine was a bit too wide to fit the pins in the two holes in the dash plastic. I had already drilled a hole yesterday in each of the brackets but not the notch. I have already drilled holes in the brackets - per the above screenshots - but did it before checking to see how it would play with my screen. Picture of finished product if all is done correctly. **ħD0-02-01 5553 0503 40CA **** You can change this to your liking see below ****ħD0-03-01: xxxx 00xx xxxx - Ford Classic (Blue Theme, Multi-colored Buttons/*****)ħD0-03-01: xxxx 01xx xxxx - Ford Timeless (Blue Theme, Blue Buttons/*****)ħD0-03-01: xxxx 04xx xxxx - Ford GT (All Blue Theme for 2017 Ford GT)ħD0-02-01: xxxx 01xx xxxx - Ford/Lincoln (Default)ħD0-02-01: xxxx 05xx xxxx - Raptor (Ford Performance)ħD0-02-01: xxxx 09xx xxxx - Shelby Mustang R1 (Ford Performance)ħD0-02-01: xxxx 0Bxx xxxx - ST (Ford Performance) - Sport TechnologyħD0-02-01: xxxx 0Cxx xxxx - RS (Ford Performance) - Rallye SportħD0-02-01: xxxx 0Dxx xxxx - GT (Ford Performance) - Grand Touring ** My truck is a 2014 Ford Raptor Crew Cab, it is loaded with heated, cooled seats, dual climate control etc.
